I’ve just listened to Finian Makepeace interview. He spoke about the Soil Advocacy courses that they run – in English. He nicely acknowledged that the present restriction to English was perhaps a limitation, but at least a good start. I’d be pretty sure that Kiss the Ground has considered multilingual or translated courses. Perhaps decided that, in light of their priorities, this is not the time.

It struck me that maybe this would be something that the community you are building with ‘We Are Carbon’ could maybe pick up. At least explore. Not just as a favour to Kiss the Ground, but as a means and example of community action. Are there people watching and becoming involved with We Are Carbon who could write translations or even be joint teachers with Kiss the Ground in their Soil Advocacy courses? I can’t speak anything but english myself, sadly, but maybe this could be explored. I recently did an online 8-week course on Continuous Cover Forestry run by ProSilva and other EU organisations in French, German and English with written translations. It was excellent. Shows what can be done. (https://forestmoocforchange.eu/en/faq/ )
